Spyderco C152NLWDP Chaparral Slipjoint - CTS-XHP Blade - Birdseye Maple Handle
Chaparral. A very cool name we must admit. Though to many of us the chaparral is a lowly scrub bush that's as ubiquitous as dirt once you leave paved roads out west, the Spyderco Chaparral is quite an amazing knife. Chaparral has a tenacity to survive, revive and regenerate after being destroyed by drought or fire deeming it something to respect. It's also what Spyderco calls their series of gentlemen's folders, with new and more interesting offerings to come.
Each member of Spyderco's Chaparral family of knives share the same refined back lock folder design, but express it with distinctively different handle materials and treatments.
This latest member is the Chaparral series showcases genuine birdseye maple scales and the dramatic grain pattern characteristic of this material. All other features are consistent with the Chaparral platform, including a full-flat-ground CTS-XHP stainless steel blade, stainless steel liners, a reversible deep-pocket wire clip and new for this version - non-locking SlipJoint blade.
