The newest member of this prestigious family features precision-machined scales crafted from Red “Dark Matter” Fatcarbon Carbon Fiber. Created by fatcarbon® Materials of Lithuania, “Dark Matter” composite sheets are manufactured using recycled carbon fiber material, biobased epoxy resin, and organic pigments. They are then “forged” under high pressure and heat to yield an incredibly strong, lightweight, chemical-resistant material that is stunningly beautiful and complex. The breathtaking scales of this knife elevate the Chaparral’s proven design features, which include a full-flat-ground, satin-finished CTS-XHP stainless steel blade, a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for ambidextrous one-handed opening, a reliable back lock mechanism, and a deep-pocket wire clip that is reversible for discreet left or right-side tip-up carry.
