Spyderco C28SYL2 Dragonfly 2 Salt - H-1 Blade Steel - Marine Yellow FRN

Unique in the knife industry, H1 blade steel has filled a need for knives meant to be used in and around water. The popular Dragonfly 2 is now being offered with this H-1 blade steel option, called the Dragonfly2 Salt. What makes the Dragonfly a bestseller is its mid-sized blade, ergonomic handle with a front-finger choil and a spine cusp.  Its blade-to-handle geometry and leveraging points fill a gripping hand, making it feel like you're cutting with a much larger knife.  The Marine Yellow FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle is molded with a grip pattern called Bi-Directional Texturing' that ergonomically fills the hand with a series of angles and leveraging spots.

For a better grip textured jimping has been added to the choil and spine. The screw-together handle construction and a left/right tip-up wire clip make pocket carry effortless and convenient.  Precise positioning of the enlarged Spyderco Round Opening Hole in relation to the pivot makes opening/closing smooth. Hollow-ground for high cutting performance, the blade comes in your choice of PlainEdge or SpyderEdge configuration.

    Cuts Bigger Than It Looks

Posted by Joel Morales on Jan 20th 2015

I bought this Dragonfly from Cutlery Shoppe last year because I wanted a small/lightweight fishing knife. The feel and cutting capability of this thing reaches far beyond its compact size. The rust proof H1 steel is an added bonus!
