Made from Japanese AUS-10A Steel, the Gunsite is highly corrosion and stain resistant and takes a very sharp and durable edge. The handle is made from FDE (Flat Dark Earth) brown Griv-Ex and reinforced with heat treated aluminum liners, making it not only very strong, but comfortable and secure in almost any grip imaginable. For added strength and safety, Cold Steel equipped the Gunsite with their famous Tri-Ad locking mechanism, proven again and again to be incredibly strong and shock resistant.

Japanese AUS-10A steel could be referred to as the “big brother” of AUS 8A; the latter of which Cold Steel has been using in their products for over three decades. AUS-10A is a high-performance stainless alloy steel boasting all the properties of AUS-8A and then some!
