This Hidden Release Trapper continues the legacy of a classic pattern: traditionally timeless and interpreted in a contemporary way by Boker Plus. The original Trapper owes its name to the trappers who roamed the mountains and forests of North America. The design of the knife dates back to the 19th century and is characterized by its slim lines and the characteristic upper and lower bolsters on the handle. Instead of a nail nick and a slipjoint, the Boker Plus Hidden Release Trapper as an automatic knife that utilizes its stainless steel bolster to open and release the satin-finished D2 blade by simply sliding it upwards via the discreetly integrated bolster lock. The industrial-looking design of the bolster is reflected in the fine, non-slip texture of the Appaloosa Bone handle scales.
