From concept to carry, Polish custom knifemaker David Hás of Cronos Knives guided the Boker Plus Pollywog through its entire metamorphosis—transforming a nature-inspired idea into a compact fixed blade built for everyday use.
Modeled after the tadpole that lends the knife its name, the Pollywog’s organic shape blends form and function seamlessly. The drop-point blade with satin finish echoes the motion of a rowing tail and navigates daily cutting tasks with ease. Crafted from Nitro-V steel, the blade offers excellent edge retention and strong corrosion resistance, making it equally capable in urban EDC and light outdoor environments.
Precision and control are enhanced by jimping on the thumb rest and a robust full-tang construction. Contoured black G-10 handle scales follow the knife’s natural lines, providing outstanding comfort through ergonomic finger recesses. A hollow rivet at the end of the handle—reminiscent of a tadpole’s eyes—doubles as a lanyard hole.
The Pollywog is supplied with a custom-fit Kydex sheath, complete with ball chain and lanyard for secure and stylish carry.
