Knifemaker Mickey Yurco lives the philosophy of the knife in his designs and with the Epic presents a fixed knife of epic nature. Equipped with a D-2 edge retention blade, the compact Epic with its full tang construction is ideal as a free-carrying EDC (blade length 9.4 cm) as well as a bird-and-trout knife for numerous outdoor activities and as a snack knife. The short, teardrop-shaped handle is striking, which promises a heroic hand position thanks to ball-shaped G-10 scales, making the knife very easy to carry on the belt. The five studs on the handle provide stability and a harmonious look. Supplied with a precisely fitting Kydex sheath and a belt adapter.

    Excellent Purchase Experience

    I was unable to find this knife "in stock" at most online retailers. When I did find it it was NOT offered at such a competitive price. I read the reviews of thecutleryshop.com and decided I would place an order.
    The knife is as perfect as it was when it left the manufacturers packaging system. I like the way it "feels" in my smaller/medium size hands. It feels comfortable in the hand pockets of all my shorts and pants. +1 on the other reviewers suggestion of adding a UltiClip (prob. the 3.0). It's more likely to set in a toolbox as a part of a "collection".
    The SERVICE The Cutlery Shoppe provided was OUTSTANDING! I utilized the "free" shipping option. It was packaged and ready for shipping within hours. I received my package expeditiously and in perfect condition. Some "treats" were included as well, i.e. some candy, a keychain fob/ornament, and stickers/decals. I had been sent an email advising I could review my purchase. I thought the best way to do so was to place another order. After doing so I decided to leave a review of my experience.

    This Yurco design fits great in the hand and, with a 3.7” blade, is a great size for EDC with utility for self defense. You may want an Ulticlip instead of the provided Boker belt clip.
