Spyderco Pathway Lightweight - 4.43" Satin Finish 9Cr18MoV Blade - Black FRN Scales - Black FRN Sheath w/G-Clip Mount- FB59PBK
The Pathway Lightweight was directly inspired by the original Spyderco Waterway. The brainchild of Lance Clinton, a lifelong knife enthusiast and professional kayak fisherman, its versatile design was optimized for use around the water, but excels at a broad range of outdoor chores. Embracing that “do-all” spirit, the Pathway Lightweight features a full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade crafted from 9Cr18MoV stainless steel. Its low-friction edge geometry and acute, utilitarian point deliver an excellent balance of toughness, corrosion resistance, edge retention, and ease of sharpening.
The blade’s full tang is sandwiched between injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales featuring Spyderco’s signature Bi-Directional Texture pattern for a secure grip in all environmental conditions. The handle also includes a generously sized lanyard hole for easy attachment of lanyards and safety lines. For convenient carry in a variety of positions, the knife comes complete with a snap-fit injection-molded FRN sheath and a fully configurable G-Clip™ mount.
For environments where light discipline is a concern, the Pathway Lightweight is also available with a non-reflective black oxide blade coating and matching black handle hardware. Both versions reflect the deep experience of a professional outdoorsman and are ready for any adventure.
