Spyderco LFGP3 Ladybug 3 - VG-10 Blade - Foliage Green FRN Handle

When it comes to cutting tools smaller knives don't always garner the respect they deserve. As Spyderco's smallest locking folder, the Ladybug is a knife that should not be underestimated. In even novice hands the Ladybug can accomplish most cutting tasks with ease. It's razor sharp blade is easy to control, while applying only the needed pressure required.

Made of VG-10 stainless steel, the LadyBug Foliage Green is available with a PlainEdge blade. This modified clip-point blade style is matched up with a lightweight FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) handle, and weighs in at a mere 0.6 of an ounce (17 grams). The Ladybug series do not have a pocket clips, but rather a lanyard hole for attachment to a keychain or lanyard.

    Rides Like a Bug

After carrying in my jeans coin pocket for many weeks this is really a handy little knife. It certainly will not raise any eyebrows when you take out for use. The actual color is more of a grey then green. The knife came and has stayed super sharp. It operates very smoothly. After some practice you can open with one hand. For its size it is still comfortable in my hand. I gave it four stars only due to its higher price for the size. If your looking for a high quality usable super small knife, and don't mind the price,it should work for you.

This knife is awesome. The VG-10 steel is super, holding a razor sharp edge. The only reason I touched it up is because I wanted it as sharp as it could be. The hair, on my arms, is just about gone from testing the sharpness. The FRN handles are very attractive. There was a slight bit of lateral play, in the blade, that I removed by adjusting the pivot. For all, be aware that a #6 torx bit is needed to do any adjustments. The blade length is short enough to fit on my keychain while still functioning well.
