One of his most popular custom designs is the Shelter Cove - the filet knife of choice of many savvy fishermen worldwide. Now Spyderco is proud to offer an affordable production version of this highly refined design. Its blade is crafted from 8Cr17MoV stainless steel and painstakingly full-flat ground to offer exceptionally thin edge geometry and a uniform distal taper. Expertly heat treated for the optimal balance of edge retention and flexibility, it also features full-tang construction, contoured G-10 handle scales, and an oversized lanyard hole. A faithful rendition of Wilson’s coveted custom design, the Shelter Cove comes complete with a beautifully crafted genuine leather sheath with a belt loop.
