Spyderco FB24SBK2 Jumpmaster 2 - H-2 Blade - Black FRN Handle

The original Jumpmaster was developed as an emergency cutting tool to free “hung” paratroopers. The second-generation Jumpmaster 2 continues that proud tradition, offering the unparalleled cutting power of a fully serrated H-2 blade with the added versatility of an acutely pointed leaf-shaped profile. Its hollow-ground blade features a skeletonized full tang capped by injection-molded FRN scales. The handle’s ergonomic shape and the scales’ high-traction Bi-Directional Texture pattern ensure an extremely secure grip in even the most demanding conditions. This extraordinary knife comes complete with a snap-fit, custom-molded Boltaron® sheath and a versatile G-Clip™ mount that offers a full range of carry options.

I love this knife. Over the years i have grown to like these serrated edges more and more. Early on I used to think of serrations on a blade as difficult to sharpen but with all the technology today sharpening is a breeze.
Three reasons I llike this knife are first its size. Second its handle/grip and third the H1 steel that never rusts.
The only thing i may change in the future is to put a tekloc belt clip on the sheath . I have numerous knives for all occasions. This knife is just about perfect defensive knife. THe blade length is right but the grip is about perfect also. I have average hands 4 inches across the palm. The curve in the end of the grip as well as the choil help is controling and retaining the knife under wet conditions.
As far as sharp it is possibly the sharpest knife right out of the box i have ever owned. THe knife is light and stong. Perfect for defense or other duties. The price from The cutlery shop was the best I could find any where on the internet. I woud reccomend not only this knife but the seller. The knife arived in just a couple of days super fast shipping. Thanks . Rich
