Spyderco C275CFPSBK ButtonUp Folder - 8Cr13MoV Blade - Carbon Fiber/G-10 Laminate Scales
Designed by Eric Glesser, the ButtonUp is Spyderco’s first-ever manual-opening button-lock folder. It combines a high-strength, ultra-convenient button-lock mechanism with ball bearing pivot washers to yield one of the smoothest and most “fidget-friendly” folder actions they've ever produced. Its modified clip point blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and boasts a full-flat grind for superior edge geometry and strength. The blade is housed in a lightweight, easy-to-clean, open-backed handle constructed with smooth carbon fiber/G-10 laminate scales reinforced with nested stainless steel microliners around the pivot and lock. To ensure convenient carry and keep the ButtonUp poised for quick access, it includes a reversible hourglass clip that provides a choice of left- or right-side tip-up carry. The clip anchors to a second set of microliners nested in the butt of the handle and straddles a lined lanyard tube that allows the easy attachment of fobs and lanyards.
The ButtonUp is available in two different versions: one with a satin-finished blade and brightly finished handle hardware and an all-black theme featuring a black oxide blade coating and matching black-coated hardware. Both are available with a choice of PlainEdge or partially serrated CombinationEdge blade configurations.
