Spyderco C264GPCBL MicroJimbo - Michael Janich Design - CPM-SPY27 Wharncliffe Blade - Cobalt Blue G-10 Handle
The MicroJimbo distills all the key features of Michael Janich’s trendsetting Yojimbo 2 design into a smaller, more legally compliant package, while keeping its critical dimensional relationships the same. The result is an ultra-compact “tactical Wharncliffe” folding knife that deploys exactly like its full-sized counterpart, while fitting smaller hands and pockets perfectly. This elite version of the MicroJimbo enhances the design even further with a blade crafted from Spyderco's proprietary CPM-SPY27 stainless steel. An improved, powder-metallurgy expression of time-honored VG-10 stainless steel, CPM-SPY27’s advanced alloy formula contains vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, and nitrogen, all enhanced by the amplifying effects of the steel’s signature element—cobalt. Together they create a blade steel that offers an impressive balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The MicroJimbo’s full-flat-ground Wharncliffe blade takes full advantage of these properties to deliver cutting performance far beyond its compact size. It is paired with a handle featuring nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners, cobalt blue peel-ply-textured G-10 scales, and a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism. To balance discreet carry and immediate access, the MicroJimbo includes a deep-pocket wire clip that is reversible for left or right-side tip-up carry.
