Spyderco C122GBBKP Tenacious

If you're going to have virtues, Tenacious, Persistence, Resilience, and Ambitious are four that we'd recommend. Not only are these virtues to aspire to, but they're also what Spyderco has named their series of value folder knives.

These knives are rock-solid work knives, and offer great features at a price most anyone can afford. The five-star features include: G-10 handles, Walker LinerLocks, jimping, lined lanyard holes and skeletonized full-length internal liners.

Feature-for-feature, dollar-for-dollar, performance-for performance, Spyderco Value Folders represent a best buy in the knife industry and the answer to acquiring Spyderco innovation and quality on a budget.

Defined, being Tenacious has some synonyms that sum it up nicely: persistent, determined, dogged, tireless, steadfast, etc. and we think those describe the Spyderco Tenacious perfectly! This version sports non-reflective black blade, clip and screws.

I’ve had the Spyderco Tenacious for a while now, and I’m very impressed. PROS: It’s the best folder I’ve found for under $40! It is light weight, and Spyderco went through the trouble of drilling out big holes in the frame to make that way. The pocket clip can be placed on either side, tip up, or tip down. Deployment is quick and effortless with the phosphor bronze bushings, a feature you wouldn’t expect in such a cheap knife. The sharpness is excellent out of the box, but not quite a shaver. Lock-up is excellent; the wiggle is so small you have to be looking for it to notice. CONS: While it is a Spyderco, it is made in China. The 8Cr13MoV blade steel is good for a China-produced knife, and good for the cost; however, the 8Cr13MoV steel can rust and you can get better edge-retention in other steel if you want to pay for it. I would suggest if you get the Tenacious you get the model with the black coating to prevent rust; it’s a few extra bucks well spent! Overall, the knife is amazing, the likes of which Gerber and other brands cannot match for under $40.

Recieved this in the mail yesterday. Ordered on Tuesday. Extremely Fast shipping, thanks Jeff.

This knife is nice, very light, very comfortable, and extremely fast. For the price this was a steel ;). I purchased this to replace a Cold Steel Mini ak-47 I had purchased and lost while working. The only thing is I wish it was a little sharper from the Spyderco factory. This is by far faster than my Delica 4.

    Highly recommend.

Ps Jeff thanks for the candy with the already sweet order :P
