Spyderco 303MF Ceramic Double Stuff - FINE/MEDIUM w/Leather Storage Pouch - Stone Size 1" x 5" x 1/4"

This stone is a great way to see if you want to get into freehanding(which I recommend; very satisfying). I've owned other sharpeners at similar price points, and the double stuff wins out, no contest. I can use it to bring back a dull edge with the medium side and finish an edge with the fine side. If you need a great sharpening implement, and are on a budget, buy it now.

I have had a few sharpeners such as cheap diamond/steel sharpeners with the plastic backing and holes to catch steel filings. None of these would get my knife even close to as sharp as this one has. With the other sharpeners, I was concerned that maybe I couldn't get a razor edge because of my technique. That wasn't the case though. With this sharpener, I was able to get my Spyderco Endura 4 FFG shaving sharp (no joke I shaved my arms clean) and polished. I also got my Benchmade Griptilian and Victorinox Cadet razor sharp as well. A few great things about this sharpener is that it is so flat and you can use it dry. The stone also doesn't require you to flatten it like a Japanese water stone. It took me only about 5 minutes to get a sharp edge on my Spyderco. This is a great option for those who go backpacking or hunting and need a small field sharpener. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with this stone.
