Most Pro-Tech customers are familiar with the Magic BR-1 series, but they also make another awesome hidden auto that uses a similar mechanism, but operates slightly different. The Magic 2 has no apparent means of operation and will no doubt trick even the most savvy knife aficionado.
This version uses a special means of opening that relies on scissoring both handles apart. By pulling on the lower scale and pushing against the top with your palm, the scales slide apart and kick the spring into action with a satisfying snap. Once you're familiar with the mechanism, it's a breeze to operate quickly. Anyone watching the Magic 2 open might still have a hard time figuring it out, which is great fun to watch.
This version is also larger than the BR-1, making it perfect for those who enjoy the Magic series, but prefer a more generous sized carry.
The Magic 2 features lightweight black aluminum handles, 154cm steel in stonewash finish, satin hardware, black DLC coated deep carry clip and of course the unique hidden automatic operation designed by Mike "Whiskers" Allen.
