Buck Knives 112BRSA 112 Ranger AUTOMATIC 0112BRSA-B - 420HC Blade - Crelicam® Ebony Handle w/Brass Bolsters

Buck’s Folding Hunter was created in 1963 when Al Buck decided that a revolutionary folding lockblade knife was needed by outdoorsmen who wanted a sturdy knife but did not want to carry a long fixed-blade knife. He was right and the result proved to be the key to the company’s future.

Some of America’s best-selling knives are now available as automatics! The new 112 Auto is easily deployed with the push of a button, readying the 420HC blade quickly and efficiently. Featuring the same classic Crelicam® Ebony Handle and brass bolsters as the non automatic 112 you love, the 112 Auto will easily become a new collectible. Made in the USA.

US Shipments Only. Buyer's responsibility to determine legality to own/carry.

More about 420HC steel:
This is Buck's standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Using their exclusive heat-treat process and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability. You also have a blade that is easy to resharpen. For best performance Buck hardens their 420HC blades to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.
