Daily routine is a thing of the past - the Boker Plus FRND breaks free of the daily humdrum and invigorates as a varied and slim automatic knife with EDC character. The drop-point blade made of D2 opens by push button and has a black stonewash finish that makes small traces of use almost disappear even after hard use. The robust button lock with an additional slider doubly secures the blade during use and significantly minimizes the risk of unruly cutting actions escaping. Accidental opening in a trouser pocket is also a thing of the past thanks to the safety catch. The textured Grivory handle scales provide a firm grip even in wet conditions and highlights the lightness of the pocket-knife. Decorative accents are set by the anodized screws and the blue-edged blade pivot screw. Supplied with a lanyard hole, a deep carry wire clip (tip-up/right hand) and a high-quality nylon pouch.

    This knife replaced my pos boker strike. Well designed and good quality. Action is perfect. I do believe it was made in USA according to the box. Very satisfied.

    Was pleased by the knife and the packaging. Feels good quality. Seems tough and rugged for being lightweight. Been using as my edc and so far I have zero issues. I get the feeling this is higher quality than other Boker autos I've owned. Wish it had better steel but for the price I'll take it.

    This is my second purchase of the FRND. As I mentioned in my review of the regular stonewash, the knife has a positive lock-up with only a small amount of side play, likely due to the plastic scales. The blade is utility sharp, not shaving sharp, with slight waves in the edge. The overall package is nice and light, with a comfortable grip. The release button is positive and firm, and the lock has a reassuring click stop. The CPM-D2 blade is well-made with a great finish and sits evenly in the scales. It is important to note that CPM-D2 is not completely rust-proof and can be challenging to sharpen, but it holds an edge for a long time. Additionally, there is a mistake in the description stating that the pocket clip is reversible; from my observation, there is no way to reverse the clip. If you are like me and cannot justify the high prices for quality automatic knives, this one checks most of the boxes that higher-priced knives do. With plastic scales, this knife does not weigh your pocket down. As I mentioned earlier, this is my second purchase of this model, so I can highly recommend it.
