Victorinox Swiss Army Soldier 0.8461.MWUS - U.S. Combat Utility Knife

Based on the current Swiss Army Soldier knife made for the Swiss military by Victorinox, this U.S. version has only been available through select military channels. This U.S. Combat Knife Utility (NSN 1095-01-653-1166) as it is known features a distinctive non-reflective "blacked-out" anodized finish on all metal parts. Year of manufacture will be marked on tang of blade.

    Nice knife!

    This is probably my 18th or 19th Victorinox knife or tool, but definitely my first with anodized blades! I’ve never been disappointed with a Victorinox product and I’m looking forward to using this one to its full ability! Ive been carrying a Victorinox Swiss Army knife every day since the early eighties, and this time, I bought two of them, one for me and one for my Son who is a Soldier! (Trying to keep the tradition alive I guess!) when I see how the anondized blades hold up, I’ll give an update.

    Great knife, just as expected. But the customer service really impressed me, with careful packaging and a nice little treat inside as well. I'll be back for more good stuff in the future.

    US Army combat utility knife

    Adapting a proven design of a knife made by one of the best knife makers was a no brainier. I've carried the German version for years, the US Army model with the Swiss army upgrades make this a true soldiers knife.
