Victorinox Swiss Army #53043 Cadet 84mm - Red ALOX Handle

Said by many to be the perfect EDC (every day carry) Swiss Army knife. At 84mm (3.31") the Cadet model is not only handy, but due to its slim size it's easy to always have with you. With the basic tools you need in life, you will find the Cadet is adept at most tasks. The main blade can open the daily mail with ease, along with your latest shipment of goodies from Cutlery Shoppe. Other clever tools you'll use more than you'd expect are the bottle opener with large screwdriver, the can opener with small screwdriver and the nail file blade. The ALOX (aluminum oxide) handles have a checkered pattern that gives you a subtle, yet positive grip, while smooth enough to comfortably ride in your pocket. Once you start carrying a Cadet everyday - you'll wonder how you got along without it before!

What a great knife, deal, and online retailer! Got a pair of these right before Christmas. After ordering I noticed one was suddenly on backorder. Thought I wouldn't get either b4 Christmas, maybe just one. Ended up getting BOTH on time! Unbelievable. Not to mention they have the lowest prices here.

Perfect backup knife and gift giving.

I've had one of these that I always carry on me for many years now. I have it tucked in my wallet in that area under the credit card slots. The knife is so thin that you won't see a bulge or feel it when you carry in in your wallet. Just make sure you take the key ring off first. It's also a great knife to pull out and use when you're in a knife unfriendly environment. No one freaks out over this little thing. These also make really nice gifts for a very nice price. Speaking of price, Cutleryshoppe has them for the lowest price I've seen. Get a few of them to keep for gift giving. You get a lot for the money with these beauties.
