Cold Steel 97BWM12S Bowie Machete - 1055 Carbon Steel Blade - Cor-Ex Sheath

Cold Steel’s Bowie Machete is fast, and lively in the hand, making it an outstanding slashing blade and an admirable chopper while still retaining knife-like capabilities when a smaller handier blade is required. The Bowie Machete is supplied fully sharpened, with a tough, baked-on matte black rust resistant coating and is equipped with a sturdy Core-Ex sheath.

Due to size/weight no shipments outside of USA.

you will not get a better review then from me i have tested this knife for about 2 and a half months now and i can say im surprised about the quality for 22 bucks first off i couldn't resist thrashing it in a solid oak tree did some de-limbing preformed well considering its a machete thickness not a knife thickness battoning was decent considering its a thin blade and it held up well the finish stayed on well a little to well it came with a stupid residue from a sticker and it got crud and stuff attached to it but i polished the blade and thats not a problem anymore now the edge from box sucked but a sharpening stone and some patience smoothed that out its pretty light for a 12 inch blade mainly because its so thin i eventually gave up on using it for woodsman tasks and have sharpened the false edge and made it into an awesome fighting knife i keep it at my shop as an emergency tactical knife all in all the knife is good and can serve in a variety of tasks no holy grail but its a 22 dollar knife you will not care to use
