Buck's first automatic, the 898 Impact is aptly named, as it's made quite an impact in the world of automatic knives. The Buck Impact engages with the push of a button and includes a safety slide. Once the safety switch is moved to the red, you simply push the button. The button lock style keeps the knife locked open and closed to prevent accidental deployment. The blade is made from premium S30V steel. The handle is 6061-T6 aluminum, given a Cerakote finish, with a textured rubber inlay.
