Böker Plus 01BO515 HEL Karambit Flipper - 154CM Blade - Blue G-10 Linerlock Handle

As a self-confessed fan of the Filipino Martial Arts, it made sense for the Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis from Hydra Design to design a Karambit knife for Boker Plus. The sickle-like knives have their origin in Southeast Asia and were preferably used for rice harvesting. The Boker Plus HEL Karambit, on the other hand, presents itself in a tactical guise. The black-coated Hawkbill blade made of 154CM works its way effortlessly through cardboard and ropes, while the black G-10 handle and the robust linerlock provide the necessary on-the-job safety. The light weight and high efficiency form the backbone of the pocket-knife named after the Norse goddess of the underworld. As an alternative to the silky-smooth flipper opening, the pocket-knife offers a screw-off thumb stud on the back of the blade, the shape of which also serves as a wave-opener. The characteristic angular design elements of Alessandra De Santis can be found in the striking G-10 ring at the end of the handle. The reversible wire clip (tip-up) acommodates right or left side carry. Supplied with a high-quality nylon pouch.

So nice I bought it twice!!!

Posted by C Blevins on Oct 20th 2024

I've been carrying a waved Karambit since Emerson was the only game in town (well over 20 years). When the Karahawk came out, I was in love and bought two. I've since purchased just about every singled waved k-bit I could find. 90% of the time, I'm disappointed and have always gone back to my Karahawk. Lately, I'd been wanted a lighter option to clip to my house pants. I was never a huge Boker fan - until I found this one. It's amazing. If you're a k-bit guy, just buy it. Nothing bad to say about this one. I now have 2 different Karahawks and 2 Hels in my daily rotation. I have about 7 FOX k-bits and only one has made it to my daily rotation - that should tell you something. This knife is a STEAL. I had to grab another because I don't want to be the guy trying to track one down 5 years after they've been discontinued. This knife is so good in fact, that I'm seriously considering buying another. I need another k-bit like I need another hole, but you must understand - I've been buying every single new pocket-opening k-bit, regardless of price or brand for over 20 years - this and the Karahawk are my absolute favorites. AWESOME! Awesome price and lightning shipping from CutleryShoppe too! You guys rock! Buy with confidence!!!
