Al Mar S.E.R.E. 2000 S2KOD - 3.6" VG-10 Satin Blade - Olive Drab G-10

The flagship of the AMK line, the S.E.R.E. has been updated for the new millennium. Originally designed by AL MAR and Colonel Nick Rowe in the early 1980’s for the U.S. Army’s SERE school, today’s updated models are stronger, lighter and more precise. Quite a bit has changed in the world of knives in the last few years - an evolution you might say, with great new blade steels, durable/lighter handle materials, more dependable locking systems and many other advances. The new S.E.R.E. 2000 has clearly evolved and meant to survive with its VG-10 steel blade, G-10 handle and liner lock mechanism. For more discreet carry, the pocket clip is given a non-reflective black chrome finish. The unique pocket clip is top mounted to sit lower and more discreetly in your pocket and is easily reversible for right or left hand carry. Dual thumb studs also make it ambidextrous. Even its double stainless steel liners are heat treated for maximum strength.

Built like a tank that performs like a sports car, the S.E.R.E. 2000 is truly a terrific folder. In fact, I'd say that it's also one of the toughest folders we sell! Jeff

    Better than I expected service.

    Great knife...came perfectly centered.
To my surprise as well it was numbered 39 out of 200.
For those who enjoy a bit of heft with their edc, this one is truely a classic in everyway...I espcially love the olive drab scales...looks retro military...thanks again CS!
